Richard Staveley b. 1807 is the son of Richard Henry Thomas Staveley, and Mary Ann FYFE who were married at St. Alban Wood Street, in London.  Richard Staveley (b. 1807-1870) married Agnes Jane CARTER (b.1811-?) and is known to have had three children born in Liverpool: Marianne Fyfe Staveley (b. 1841), Frederic Winbolt Staveley (b. 1844) and a son Henry (b. 1847).

Richard and Agnes Jane are found with their three children residing in Kirkdale, Lancashire in 1861.  Richard died in 1870 in Liverpool, and his widow Agnes is living in Everton, Lancashire in 1871.

Their son, Frederic Winbolt Staveley, became a Shipping Agent and is living in Bootle, Lancashire in 1871.  Daughter Marianne Fyfe Staveley, married Matthew GALBRAITH, and moved to Aberdeen, Scotland.  Son Henry Staveley married Jessie T. GALBRAITH from Edinburgh, Scotland, possibly the sister of Matthew mentioned above.  Henry, like his brother Frederic, also became a Shipping Agent, but by 1881 based his business from Hornsey in Middlesex:
