Samuel Staveley of Harpham b. 1811 is the son of William Staveley and Elizabeth WILSON.  He married Ann GIBSON in Bridlington on February 1, 1835 and settled in Reighton.

Son John born in 1836 is employed as a farm servant by Jordan CLARKE of Reighton in 1851.

Son  Wilson born in 1839 is employed as a Farm Servant (Shepherd) in the CLARK household in 1851 in Carnaby, Yorkshire.

Samuel died just a few years later in 1855, and his son Wilson died the same year.  His widow Ann remained in Reighton:

In 1861, Samuel and Ann's children are scattered throughout neighboring parishes.

Mary is working in Hunmanby for John Settrington as a Kitchen Maid.

Daughter Susan is in Bempton listed as an "Indoor Servant" working for William Davison.

In 1861 George is in Garton, employed as a Plough Boy by Thomas Carter. Toward the end of 1864 George married Elizabeth FOSTER and settled in Southburn, in the parish of Kirburn, Yorkshire.

John Staveley is the son of Robert and Ann Staveley of North Burton.  John married Mary Ann MOODY April 8, 1871, but she died in 1888 at the age of 42 years.  Reighton is situated just a couple of miles from Hunmanby, where John's brother Francis was living in 1881.  John is now a widower living in Reighton with a few of children:
