South Shields, Durham
It appears that Edward Staveley, son of Henry Staveley and Nanny MIDDLETON of Dent. Edward Staveley and Isabella's eldest son Henry (b. 1847) was baptized in Horton in Ribblesdale, Yorkshire. This family had relocated to South Shields in Durham by the 1861 census.

There is an entry of death for Edward in the GRO index for the December Quarter of 1886, aged 63 years.
Based upon the census records from 1871 through 1901, it is presumed that Edward and Isabella also had another son, John Staveley (b. 1850). Edward's son John "of Wensledale" appears to have married Margaret (nee?) and together produced four children, Edward, Robert, William and Isabella.

Edward's brothers Robert and William are still residing in the Ingoe household in 1901.
By 1901 John Staveley's eldest son Edward is himself married to Annie FETTIS, and they have a son named John Robert Staveley aged one year.

Edward and Annie move to New York, USA. In 1913 Annie sailed aboard the Mauretania, arriving at Ellis Island, New York on March 28, 1913. She is traveling with her son John Robert Staveley aged 12, daughter Ethel aged 8, and son Edward A. Staveley aged 6 years. Annie gives the address of her mother, Mrs. A. Fettis, as her nearest relative in England, residing at Connaught Terrace, Jarrow, Durham. Annie's destination address is listed as:

Annie is found traveling through Ellis Island, New York again with her daughter Margaret, aged 5 years, on April 29, 1923. The passenger documentation states that Margaret was born in New York. Annie's brother, Ralph FETTIS of Jarrow, Durham, is listed as Annie's nearest relative in England. Annie gives her destination address in 1923 as:

Also in 1913 there is a record of a John Robert Staveley, aged 11 years, traveling alone aboard the S.S. Caronia to Ellis Island, New York. John lists his grandparents "Mr. & Mrs. Ingoe" residing at 159 High St., Jarrow on Tyne as his nearest relatives in England. Presumably this is Edward's son aged 1 year in the 1901 census above.
John and Margaret's son William Stavley appears to have married Ann Stephenson GRAY on December 31, 1915 at Jarrow St. Mark.
