North Burton, Yorkshire
The parish of North Burton is also known as Burton Fleming, and is situated in the East Riding of Yorkshire near Bridlington. Thomas Staveley married Francis MONKMAN December 6, 1801 in Kilnwick, Yorkshire, and had two children, William Monkman Staveley (b. 1802) and Nancy Staveley (b. 1804) in Kilnwick prior to moving to North Burton. Thomas and Frances' oldest son, William Monkman Staveley, married Elizabeth GRAY October 25, 1827 in North Burton. His wife Elizabeth died in 1840 and was buried in North Burton on June 23, 1840. William Monkman Staveley died the following year on February 16, 1841, and was buried in North Burton on February 21st.
Son James (b. 1807) married Rebecca TODD September 11, 1831 at Holy Trinity, Kingston Upon Hull and is found residing in Hull in 1861.
Son John Monkman Staveley is living on Charterhouse Lane, Newgate, in London by 1841, and died on March 11, 1841 in Newgate.
Daughter Hester married Henry ROBINSON at Holy Trinity, Kingston Upon Hull in 1843.
Thomas and Frances' son Robert married Ann WILSON on June 3, 1844 in Hunmanby, and settled in North Burton. By 1851 they have the following family:

Robert and Ann were soon to suffer the loss of three daughters within the span of two months. Daughter Betsey Staveley was buried in North Burton on January 21, 1863 at the age of 6 years. Her sister Frances was buried ten days later, on January 31, 1863 at the age of 11 years. Within two months Esther Ellen was also buried, on March 24, 1863, aged 3 years.
Robert and Ann's sons John, Henry and Francis are living outside the household in 1861. Son John is in the employ of Robert's neighbor Jeffrey BOUCH, a local farmer of 254 Acres:

John's wife Mary Ann died in 1888 at the age of 42 years. By 1891 John is residing with some of his children in Reighton, just southwest of Hunmanby. Richard Wilson Staveley and Louie Eliza Warriner had at least seven children together, Robert, Eveline, Ida, Richard Warriner, Winifred R., George Wilson and Enid E. Staveley.
Son Richard Warriner Staveley served as a Private in the Green Howards, Yorkshire Regiment, during the second World War. He was killed during Operation Market Garden, in Arnhem, on November 2, 1944 at the age of 31 yers. Richard is buried at Jonkerbos War Cemetery in the Netherlands.
