In 1726 a Nathaniel Staveley married Sarah Scrimshire in the nearby parish of Thrybergh, and his family settled in Pontefract. It is unknown at this time if Nathaniel is related to Francis and Sarah mentioned above.
There is a later entry of marriage for Elizabeth Staveley to John SHEPHERD in this parish on January 13, 1818.
