Joseph Staveley b. February 20, 1717 is the son of William Staveley of Saundby, and Elizabeth SLATER. Joseph married Sarah SNOWDEN in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire on May 24, 1743. They had the following children in Swinderby:

Unfortunately Mary died as an infant. By 1749 the family is found residing in Fledborough, Nottinghamshire.
Joseph and Sarah's son Eastland Staveley married Mary THOMPSON in 1767 in Newton On Trent, Lincolnshire.
