Albert Livingston Staveley was born September 10, 1863, the son of William Reyner Stavely and Julia KELLY of Solebury, Pennsylvania.  Albert was a physician like his father, and at the age of forty-two Albert married Willie Browning HIRALSON.  It is unknown exactly when Albert arrived in Washington DC, but a few articles from the Washington Post archives suggest he was living in the area at least by 1896.
