Tatham, Lancashire
John Staveley (b. 1854) is the son of Henry Staveley and Ann HARPER of Raw Ridding in Dent, Yorkshire. In 1891 there is some confusion as to whether John is residing in Ingleton, Yorkshire, with his sister, in Burrow-with-Burrow with his wife! At the time of the 1891 census he stated he was married, but his spouse was absent from the Ingleton household. Regardless, it does seem that John married Mary Alice ATKINSON near Kendal in 1889. Below we find both John and Mary in 1901 in Tatham, near Lancaster, Lancashire:
